Calgary's Memorial Park

Memorial Park was given to the city in 1885 as a gift from the government of Canada. Was used a tree nursery, by 1912 it was landscaped around 1928 was a memorial for war veterans. Names changes from Central Park to Central Memorial Park. Many Memorial's are held here to honor our war heroes.
